The Collective Clubhouse: How I created my signature offer!
It’s been quite the journey… So let me take you back to the start!
I started The Visual Collective back in 2017 and I was offering ALL kinds of services, from birthday party invites through to virtual admin… I didn’t really know what I wanted to offer; I just knew I wanted- needed rather, to be creating.
A friend asked me to create a logo for her business and then next minute the requests just kept coming in!
I started offering logos for $50 a pop and dropped the party invites off my list of available services (smart move Courtney, you weren’t very good at them!).
This was so exciting at the time, I felt like I’d finally found my niche.
But things started to evolve pretty quickly…
My clients started asking for more; could you just make me a business card?
Sure!
Then they would come back and say I need a website. Do you make those as well?
Well, I do now!
And before I knew it, I had an array of happy clients and plenty of work to keep me occupied!
But then the question came…can you write the content for me?
Err….no.
I hated saying no to work but writing content is NOT MY STRONG POINT.
So I asked around for someone to help me write the content for a client's website and collaborated with another creative for the first time in my business journey!

Then I had requests from these same clients to manage their social media accounts…again NOT MY STRONG POINT,
I can’t even manage my own social media!

I was surprised to learn just how many small businesses out there needed the support we were now offering…
Our client base continued to grow and it became very obvious to me that there was an opportunity here to create something bigger; a package that would help eliminate the overwhelm for these clients!
And so, the Side Hustle Package was born!
At this point my “Side Hustle Package” only included logo and branding, social media templates, a basic website design and business cards.
It went nuts.
But as the world of online businesses continued to boom and technology continued to advance, it was time for another upgrade!
Requests came in for more services; SEO, COPYWRITING, CAPTIONS, PACKAGING DESIGN, BUSINESS HELP!
We rebranded the side hustle package and I built an incredible team of creatives, all with different strengths who knew their stuff! And we created The Collective Clubhouse!
Our one stop shop for everything a business needs to get off the ground or refresh their vibe PLUS the added support of a business coach; to bounce ideas off, ask questions and be your number one cheerleader!
The most valuable offer of them all in my opinion!
