5 Tips for a Successful Brand Launch

Okay... so you've done the hard part. You've invested in a killer brand and are ready to get it out to the world, but how?  As someone who specialises in branding for small businesses, I can safely say I've heard this question a few times...​​​​​​​​

So let’s get into it;

Whether you’ve been working on a re-launch, or establishing something completely new, getting your new branding out into the world is often the most daunting task. 

​​​​​​As side hustlers move through the growth stages to a small business they can often see gaps appearing in their brand as they continually evolve with their audience. This means oftentimes they need an updated brand to go along with the new changes. 

​​​​​​​​Branding is incredibly important, it helps to distinguish your business from others, demonstrating to customers from the onset what you have to offer.

​​​​​​​​So, you’ve made the investment. Your new branding is ready for the world to see, but now what? 
How are you going to debut your brand to the world? 

Here are my five tips for a successful brand launch. 

​​​​​​​​1. Prep the audience 

Get them excited for what’s coming. You can do this through your social media, emails & your website! Share some insights, peak their interest, get them invested in your launch.  Branding, in many ways appeals to people's emotions, it’s through your branding that they will come to understand your business and grow a connection with you & your company. 

Building meaningful relationships with your audience starts with branding, including them in the launch process will strengthen this bond, and eventually these relationships could turn into a loyal customer base. 

Basically, you need to get them listening!

2. Sneak Peeks 

Share the journey with your audience as you go through the branding process! This will make them feel as though they’re actually involved in the process.  Sharing sneak peeks with your audience humanises your brand, strengthening the connection between your business and future customers. Not only will they be invested in your branding process, but in your business as a whole. 


​​​​​3. Giveaways 

This will really get them excited…Host a giveaway on your socials!

You’ve prepped your audience, they’re invested. They feel as though they’ve been on this journey with you and share a strong connection to your brand. Hosting a giveaway is almost like saying thank you. Thank you for supporting me throughout this process, here’s what your support means to me… It’s an insight into what they can expect from your business in the future, your launch is no longer a one sided conversation, rather an interactive experience for your audience to be truly immersed in the process with you. 

Who wouldn’t be excited about that?!

4. Blogs 

Share a blog post about your experience with branding. Whether it's a new brand or a rebrand, these articles always seem to perform well.​​​​​​​​ Opening up about your experience with the process to your audience is another great way to express the real & raw workings of your business and invite genuine connections from your soon to be loyal customer base.

5. Use your network!

Encourage your established network to share your brand & digital channels.​​​​​​​​ The people you have surrounding & supporting you want to see you succeed. Not only will this elevate the exposure of your new branding, it will also strengthen your connections with others in similar industries.
