Using a consistent & distinct brand voice across all of your platforms, website included, sets the tone of your brand’s persona. This ultimately helps your audience identify who you are & what you're all about…

 

2. On brand visual identity

Like your brand voice, your visuals MUST be in alignment with the persona of your brand. Not only do your images need to be coherent, but your colour scheme, logo & typography as well!

 

3. Streamlined user experience

This one is a big one! Your website needs to be user friendly! The goal is to make it as simple as possible for a customer to find what they’re looking for and make a purchase!

 If your website is hard to navigate, you’ll lose sales to an easier alternative…

 

4. Testimonials

This will build trust with potential customers! Showcasing testimonials helps to reinforce the credibility of your brand…

Ask your previous customers for permission to use their real name on your website, real endorsements from trusted sources are incredibly valuable!

Your website needs to be engaging! Don’t underestimate the power of imagery… Show your consumer who you are & show them what you can do.

7. SEO Strategy

The customers who know your name can find your website, but what about the ones who don’t?! Your website should include relevant & SEARCHABLE keywords to increase traffic to your site.

Focus on generic terms that customers would likely be using to find a service that you're offering!

 

8. Contact information!

Your website should clearly display the best ways to get in contact with you… Phone number, email address, social handles… the works!

Don’t be shy, include a contact option on every page!

It’s also a great idea to include a clickable ‘get in touch’ CTA that takes your customer directly to a source of contact!

 

9. ‘About us’ page

Surprisingly, a lot of businesses forget this detail. I’m here to tell you that you NEED it. People care about people, business is about connection.

Sharing your story can make a huge difference when trying to attract potential customers.

Tell your consumer who you are, your history, why you do what you do…

10.  Link to your socials!
